CHARLOTTE — A community church is stepping in to support relieve Charlotte’s economical housing disaster.

Caldwell Presbyterian Church is donating land and buildings in Elizabeth, just one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods.

The target is to convert an existing constructing into 21 models of affordable flats around the upcoming two yrs.

The studio flats will be for people today who are enduring homelessness or who are have an annual
lower money involving $17,000 and $35,000.

Quite a few years back, Caldwell Presbyterian sheltered dozens of homeless girls. Now church leaders say they want to get back again to that custom of encouraging the group.
