To start with House

I 1st moved out of my parents home in Mooroolbark into an condominium by myself on Inkerman St in St Kilda, just above an Aldi.

I moved out solo mainly because I was presently undertaking drag at the time and I experienced so a great deal stuff — the drag spilt out of the spare place, into the residing area and into my room.

I really don’t know if legally the 2nd bed room would be permitted to be termed a bed room simply because there was no window, but I just considered of it as a huge wardrobe so it was great.

But I could not think about a person paying income to actually rest in there.

I was working at the time at the Greyhound Lodge and also in the town at Draculas.

When it comes to property, Artwork Simone loves “a little bit of tack-o-rama”.

Latest Dwelling

After my condominium in St Kilda, I realised I necessary a more substantial place for all my drag.

I jumped all over a couple of periods considering that then and two years back purchased my first area out in North Geelong with my most effective close friend.

We ended up renting jointly for a very good four or five a long time, but none of the financial institutions would lend me money for the reason that of my position in the enjoyment sector — without all those normal pay slips and with Covid coming into city and our business shutting down, I couldn’t get a mortgage.

But my mate claimed he wished to purchase too and he’s a paramedic, so they were being pleased to lend him the funds.

Whilst it’s not in Melbourne, operating in leisure I like to length myself when I get property, close the door and get out of all the glitter and the glitz for a minor bit.

Simone purchased her to start with dwelling in North Geelong two decades ago, but struggled to get a bank loan thanks to her career in the leisure sector.

We have 4 bedrooms, two living parts and large double garage, which is now my wardrobe.

We’re so shut to the h2o and it has excellent views, but also shut for going for a hike in the bush and only 45 minutes into Melbourne.

And we live on a significant golfing environmentally friendly, so we’ve been gathering golfing balls which is enjoyment. It actually has the best of all the things.

But my favourite point is from the balcony you can see the Sphinx Lodge, which has a large sphinx sculpture at the entrance — it is the tackiest detail in the globe but I love it so considerably.

As a drag queen, I love a little bit of tack-o-rama. The tackier the better.

Desire Home

I do not photograph any type of house in standard, but my aspiration is to have a number of little spots all over Australia.

I see myself settled in Geelong as my eternally household, but I also want a home on the Gold Coastline and a wonderful minimal retreat in Tasmania, wherever I can nestle in and consume wine for a weekend.

I imagine a few homes is the desire — I really don’t care what they glance like, but when I’m a billionaire, I’m going to have the fantastic trifecta in my eyes: Geelong, Gold Coastline and Tasmania, and just to be absent from the hustle and bustle.

It’s so negative but my brain is programmed to consider of houses as workspaces.

As long as it has two spare bedrooms, with a single as the wig home and just one as the wardrobe, I’ll be established.

And of course a spare bathroom so I do not get glitter and basis all more than the ground of the key one particular.
